University Consortium of Pori is located next to Kokemäki River in an old cotton factory building in the city centre. The building is one of the most photographed ones in Pori.
University Consortium has a combination of different fields and operators within the same building. It hosts departments of four different universities: Tampere University of Technology, University of Tampere, University of Turku and Aalto University. There are 2500 students and 170 professionals within the University Consortium.
City of Pori
Pori is the eleventh biggest city in Finland with over 85 000 residents and is also the main city of the Satakunta region. Pori is rapidly evolving into a hot spot for higher education and culture. Taking the train There are train connections between Helsinki-Vantaa airport and Pori (3 to 4 hours). You can take the train from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport that takes you straight to Pori with one possible change in Tampere train station. Taking the taxi in Pori You can also use taxi as a transfer. You can get a taxi from a taxi rank or by telephone – in Pori, the taxi service number is 0600 30033.
