FEE
General participant fee – 490€

The registration fee includes:
– Full conference program
– Facilitation for your presentation (furniture and stationery)
– Welcome drink on March 23rd
– Coffee and related refreshments during the conference, starting March 24th
– Light lunch on conference days (March 24, 25, 26, 27),
– The conference dinner and celebration on March 25th, at the Asehoune Kabinetti Restaurant

Not included in the fee:
– Breakfasts (these are usually part of the hotel’s room rates)
– Dinners for the other days of the event
– Transport to and from the airport /railway station to the hotel
– Poster printing for the poster sessions
– Application processing fee (APC) of the ACM-ICPS proceedings
– Other winter activities, whether alone or with your travel companions, or organized with other conference participants, such as skiing, sledding, or snowmobiling, are self-organized at your own expense. The conference team can help you organize activities with other participants, but these activities are not part of the conference program.

Please note that accepted presenters should register by January 12th, 2026.

Companion fee (only for the social program on March 25th)
Adult – 150 Euro
Child – 60 Euro

The registration page will automatically issue an invoice for the full cost of your registration (yours and your companions). If you require a separate invoice for your companions’ registration, please:
Fill out the registration form with your own participation, clicking NO in the companion option
Complete your registration. After receiving your invoice, you can select the “Edit registration” option in the confirmation email.
Edit your registration information and select your companions by choosing the “YES” option. Add your number and type of companions. You will receive an additional invoice once their fee is paid.
Please note that the cancellation rules also apply to companion fees.

REGISTRATION
The conference registration page is now open. Please remember that you must be fully registered (payment included) to request the hotel booking code and any visa-related documents (should you need them).

Please note that at least one of the accepted presenting authors should register before January 12th, 2026.

For visa purposes, please note that invitation letters should be requested via info@gamifinconference.com only after the full conference registration fee has been paid and the necessary IDs and proof of university/organizational enrollment have been provided.

Please note that the Finnish consulate in your country may require additional documentation and that processing times may vary.

ACCOMMODATION
GamiFIN participants are kindly asked to make their own hotel reservations and pay for their accommodation at the hotel. Quota reservations have been made for the Lapland Hotels Riekonlinna. Upon completing registration, conference participants can request the code to book a room at a discounted rate. Buffet breakfasts and access to the sauna are included in the prices.

TRAVEL TO SAARISELKÄ
Saariselkä is known as Finland’s northernmost adventure destination. It is 250 km. above the Arctic Circle, and its closest airport is Ivalo. You can find more details here.

Several international airlines offer direct flights to Ivalo in March. Please note that flight schedules for 2026 have not been released yet; therefore, all currently available information is indicative. You can find useful information here

However, we encourage you to take the bus or the train; there are also plenty of options, including a night train from Helsinki.

Shuttle services from all major bus/train stops near Ylläs are also available.
