This was another record breaking year for GamiFIN. We received more paper submissions this year than in any previous year, meaning that we’re in for another interesting conference in 2020. However, it also means that various interesting papers did not make it to the full conference program. We truly hope that the authors consider submitting their research, as a poster or a doctoral consortium submission, to the conference for further development as well as making full use of reviewer comments for further developing their submissions to the Gamification track.

Finally, we’re excited to announce the addition of workshops to the conference program. Our first announced workshop is hosted in collaboration with S-Group and will examine gamifying sustainable consumption (https://gamifinconference.com/workshop/). We will be adding more details about these workshops and the details for registration within the next few weeks.
We’ve updated the remaining important dates for the conference, so please note the following schedule:
- January 31, 2020: deadline for (revised) camera-ready full paper submissions;
- January 31, 2020: deadline for poster submissions and doctoral consortium applications
- February 9, 2020: Final confirmation of acceptance of (revised) camera-ready full paper submission, posters and doctoral consortium submissions
- February 28, 2020: Registration deadline for all presenting authors (presenters of full papers, posters and doctoral consortium fellows)
- April 1-3, 2020: Conference
